The mission of this blog is to educate. Not only educating others (hopefully) but also educating myself, with your help. After working close to a decade in law enforcement, I have found a disparity between the firearm tactics taught and how much is actually retained by front line officers. If this reaches and educates just a handful of instructors, personnel, and administrators, my goal has been achieved.
About Me
I have been involved in Ohio law enforcement for 8 years. I’ve worked within the walls of a county jail, a lower middle class community with moderately high violent crime, and a quiet bedroom community bordering Cincinnati. For the past 8 years I’ve been a firearms instructor, and responsible for active shooter response coordination and instruction.
